browse->open new window and display list->select->paste selection in form

Hello Everyone

I'm trying to figure out a way to make a browse button on a form that when clicked, it would open up a new window to display a list of selection. Once one of the item from the list would be clicked, the selection window would close and the selected item would be pasted to a text box on the page.

I have been looking around to find if there is any javascript or php script available that I could use and modify but I can't find any them.

If any of you know where I can find a thread/script discussing a similar project, please let me know.

PHP doesn't know what "browsers" or "buttons" or "windows" are, so you'll be looking for Javascript or another client-side scripting language, thus I'm moving this thread to the ClientSide Technologies forum.
