[RESOLVED] horizontal repeat omitting 1st result

Testing this against a vertical do-while repeat region -- I'm trying to figure why this horizontal region is leaving off the 1st result. How can it be adjusted?:

Can you show us a bit more code above this snippet? Unless I'm missing something obvious, there're no serious errors in your code.

right above, basic conditions:

  <td height="285"><?php if ($totalRows_RecSearch2 <=1)
            {echo'<br><br><br>';} ?>

<?php if ($totalRows_RecSearch2 >1)
            {echo'<div align="center"><Strong><font color="#333333" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">SEARCH  THE STATES:</font></strong></div>';} ?>

But this isn't it - - same problem exists when this is removed.

I've been asking for some time on this problem -- nobody can seem to find out why it is omitting the first value

What I was hoping to see was all of the SQL-related stuff above it.

It sounds like you're accidentally calling a MySQL function that retrieves data outside of the loop, i.e.

$query = "SELECT ...";
$exec = mysql_query($query);
$result = mysql_fetch_assoc($exec); // bad!

while($result = mysql_fetch_assoc($exec)) { // first row already retrieved - starting at 2nd

}

It was this:

$result = mysql_fetch_assoc($query);

-Removing made it work. Thanksso much.
