fields in entries???

ok - so i've got all this inside one field called zvars;

i need to seperate out the zRoomName[x] & zRoomDesc[x] and format them to;

<title>zRoomName1</title>
<desc> zRoomDesc1 paragraph goe here</decs>
<title>zRoomName2</title>
<desc> zRoomDesc2 paragraph goe here</decs>...

is there some way of easily doing this in the sql request? otherwise i can't think why they've done it this way?
(table is called extra)
SELECT * FROM extra.zRoomName, extra.zRoomDesc WHERE zpcode = '$ref' AND ztype='RM' ????!!!!! or will i have to use loads of explodes?

take a look at this:

$answer = @file("extra_info.php");
$Temp = count($answer);

example:

$title = eregi_replace("ISL060498, zRoomName1='", "<title>", $answer[35]);

#and so on for all other info

#etc etc etc

if the structure of extra_info.php never changes, maybe this can work.

This example is to work if you don't have access to db.

mmm - so there's no way to treat those areas in the content as selectable fields? why the hell did they do that then?

tried that - cheers auto, but didn't quite work. unless its meant to print the sql so you can see waht's going on?

Can you post your extra_info.php code here please?

as far as i can tell the code you posted first is to share info with other servers. The data may be formated as you want. I tought this page was some page you didn't have access to it's code. If you have the access you can easilly format one page.

By the way, the code doesn't work because you are oppening some file that your server does not recognize as php code, so $answer[35] is no longer what we ment to be.
