Hey, I just finished my latest project, The Screenshot Forge: http://screenshotforge.com. It's a site for sharing screenshots; The Screenshot Forge is to screenshots what Flickr is to photographs =). So try it out and tell me what you like, and what you'd change.

Should I upload my collection of screenshots?

Ummm...something like 4,000 going back to 1997 to the present. Anything good I see I make a screenshot and save it.

Haha, wow 4000... I think that'll use up all of my webspace (20GB, about 19GB left). But seriously, it is a slight issue. I mean, sooner or later, the site is gonna get big. Maybe so big that I won't be able to afford to keep upgrading my hosting account. But if that happens, I will upload all the screenshots to ImageShack and serve them from there (although it is slower).

But sure, go ahead upload =)

You should change hosts, try www.servage.net - you get 75 gb space and 1110 gb / monthly transfer 😉

If it gets that big why not host it yourself?

I've just recently started hosting my own site and it isn't that bad. Then all you need is to get a bigger hard disk.

Obviously there are lots of security considerations when doing this but it's all good fun.

Hmm..servage looks interesting, thanks.

I would host it myself, but then bandwidth & speed becomes an issue (I'm in Toronto). The most expensive connection is 70$/month and it has 100GB of bandwidth and 2Mbps up speed.
