Hey there
the time has come to create my own shopping cart for a company who sell tools and safety equiptment, however im having a hard time understanding how the shopping cart intigrates with the database i.e. the order table, stating what they ordered etc. i have been searching opn google for the past 2 hours and have found 2 tutorials but they dont realy explain how the 2 intigrate. could any one please help?
o yeh im using php/mysql
any help would be most appreciated.
one last thing im not asking you to write the code for me i just want to know how it works, i understand how to actualy create the cart its intigrating what the customer has bought with the database (eg inserting what products into the order table)
i have no schema or design for the tables yet as i want to understand how this works so i can create an eficient database.
