[RESOLVED] Count () amount values in colum

Hi,

I have a colum with lots of names.
ID | Name
1 | John
2 | Sara
3 | Steve
4 | Steve
5 | John
6 | Steve
7 | Steve
8 | Sara
9 | Lenon
10| Sara
11| Steve
12| Steve
...

I would retrieve the names that more then 3 time arrise in the colum name.

SELECT Name, count(Name) FROM sample having count(Name) > 3 

Can you point me in the good direction.

Almost correct. But you need to group the table as well:

SELECT Name, count(Name) FROM sample GROUP BY name having count(Name) > 3

It may be that the GROUP BY should be after HAVING COUNT, but I think it's this way.
