Replace Occurrences

Hello, I'm pulling data from a 4.0.24 mysql database. One of the table columns is "Decimal" type and includes shipping cost. Some of the fields contain "0.00" and I would like to replace these with the text "Free Shipping" when the page is processed. Can someone please tell me how to make this happen?

echo ($shipping_cost == 0) ? 'Free Shipping' : $shipping_cost;

Thanks for the quick responses! I guess it would be helpful if I showed you the actual code, because I couldn't make this work. It currently looks like this:

<?php echo number_format($row_DJ_mixers['Shipping_Cost'],2,'.',','); ?>

So, how would I incorporate your code into this statement? Sorry for being so dense, but I'm more of a designer who's just starting with this whole coding thing.

    echo number_format($row_DJ_mixers['Shipping_Cost'],2,'.',',');
