xml request with Curl

Can i send a xml request through Curl?

Please don't give me link Curl i know about it.

Any more help for this.
Actually i am working with UPS UPS and this site provide access to its api with xml. and provide a xml for xml access and also output of it.
I have idea that Curl will be use here but how i can use it. I don't know
