Where is addmodule in PHP5

The installation file says

For PHP 5:

Add to the end of the LoadModule section

LoadModule php5_module "C:/php/php5apache.dll"

Add to the end of the AddModule section

AddModule mod_php5.c

I have no addmodule in my httpd.conf . I am using php5.1.6 and apache2.2.3 on win xp

What am I missing ?

You're missing an AddModule section 😉 but there's nothing stopping you from just writing one (notice how the LoadModule section is declared - by writing "LoadModule" lines; the AddModule section would be done the same way).

But where in the Installation instructions for Apache 2 and Windows does it even mention AddModule, let alone say "Add to the end of the AddModule section"? I've got PHP running on Apache 2 on Windows and I don't have an "AddModule" section in httpd.conf. Never thought I needed it. Are you sure you're on the right page?

I figured I could do that...
I got the instruction from install.txt

For beginners I found something better to use... Easyphp1-8 ...no hassel in configuring
