Licensing PHP software

am building a PHP software and i was wondering what are my options to create a license key/file to restrict the use of the sfotware.

For example i would like to lock the software to the IP or website url.

Is there any PHP script or application to do that?

Not really viable unless your talking about encrypting the code, in which case, you then ristrict what servers your client choose to deploy your software on.

Your best bet is to get a good liscense policy.

What should I do to encrypt the code?
Is there a way i can only encrypt a library because that really only what I want to protect. Just 3 to 5 files.

You could look at something like ZendEncoder, but be aware that this also needs to be installed on the server you plan on running your apps on.
