French, German and Dutch version of the date("F j, Y");

Anyone have the French, German and Dutch version function of date("F j, Y")? The month name are spelled out as French, German and Dutch?

Or there is a month full name translation functions for these three languages that I can use with date("F j, Y") to get the month names in these languages?

If not, can someone write one and post to the php.net manual? It will be very helpful for someone like me not speaking these languages.

On the [man]date[/man] page there is a note:

To format dates in other languages, you should use the [man]setlocale/man and [man]strftime/man functions instead of date().
