how do i remove the php generated url
for example my site looks like this in the index page..

how do i make it so all it says is just http://yoursite.com??
I'm not sure I fully understand your question, but it looks like you're talking about using Apache's mod_rewrite to redirect urls such as http://yoursite.com/index.php/main/news to http://yoursite.com/index.php?page=main/news . no, im talking about whenever i go to my website by typing in http://yoursite.com, my member script automatically changes the http://yoursite.com to http://yoursite.com/index.php?page=member/news

So what happens if you just go to http://yoursite.com/index.php ? Sounds like you can just make a simple change in the coding so that index.php and index.php?paqe=member/news do the same thing.
