html data to pdf

hi does anyone here know how you can convert a data in the web to pdf? like when you open it instead of opening it in a normal way it opens into a pdf file? can anyone here give me a source code for it? im gonna use it for something but at the same time i want to take this opportunity to study how it is done to further enchance my skills...thanks a lot

i'm not exactly sure what you mean. there is a pdf library that you can use with php if you want to create pdf documents.:

if you are talking about converting an html document to its pdf equivalent, that sounds a bit more involved. you'll need an html parser...try searching the code archives here at phpbuilder.com:
