i have a prob with insert data

example form

user have to fill the form like this;

        SUBJECT                        GRED

1 BIOLOGY A
2 XXXXX B
3 YYYYY E
4 ZZZZZ C

    =hidden field of id student and year=
               =Send Button=

the data that data have inserted:

no(primary key) id_student year subject gred
1 1234 2006 BIOLOGY A
2 1234 2006 XXXXX B
3 1234 2006 YYYYY E

4 1234 2006 ZZZZZ C

help me to solve my problem...

Because in my form :

gred = <select name="gred[]">
<option selected value="">Select</option>
<option value="A">A</option>
<option value="B">B</option>
<option value="C">C</option>
<option value="D">D</option>
<option value="E">E</option>
</select>

subject = <input name="subject[]" type="hidden" value="<?php echo $row_subject['SUBJECT_NAME']; ?>" />

each of the subject will be inserted by hidden field and i list the subject to help the user insert the gred..

I think you're missing a foreach between the two sets of brackets

It should be:

foreach($_POST['gred'] as $gred )
{
foreach ($_POST['subject'] as $subject)
{
