Hello, Im still fairly new to php so this might seem rudimentry...
Im trying to create a blog like website. Currently I have a page which reads data from a text file, however the bigger the text file gets the longer the page will take to load. So i wish to create a sort of archive so that only the newer articles load up.
Links to old stories would be available at the bottom of the page - i.e. [1][2][3] etc.
To do this I would require a new page to be generated every so often. Perhaps a new page will be created for every 500 characters in the text file. Obviously the new page would have to have a consistant look to match other pages.
How would I go about doing this?
