Cookie locations

Do the cookies have to go into the standard locations or can you choose where they go??

I want to create a login cookie (or equivalent) so when users log into my windows network they will not have to log in to the intranet aswell; automatically handled via the netlogon scripts of AD (windows 2003)

I'm pretty certain that it's up to the user agent (browser) to decide where to store cookies. Anyway, I'm not sure how storing cookies in a different folder would help you.

At my site, we have an intranet which does exactly what you describe, but I'm not sure how it does it. Might be an ActiveX control. Actually, I'm curious, so I'll go look at the code 🙂
