[RESOLVED] extension issue php v 5.1.6

I am trying to get the php_mysqli extension to work off of a manual php install.

I have my extension dir set up and have the extension added.

extension=php_mysqli.dll

however when I go to test it out the extension is never loaded.

since this is my first manual instal of php did I miss some other config option in the recommended config file that allows extensions to be used?

I am runing php through apache 2.2.3 in module form.

Problem Solved. I downgraded to apache 2.0 and the extensions work fine now.
