Problem with displaying a html form embedded in PHP in FIREFOX

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is a php related issue, or if the problem lies with firefox, but i am having trouble making a form embedded in php display correctly in firefox. It displays perfectly fine in IE.

Here is a link to a screen shot of what is going on

The php lies within a HTML table, and the form is echoed out in php.

The form should remain in the white space within the black frame.

Any ideas?

I would guess that the problem is HTML related. You probably have a specific height to the table holding the form, and unlike IE, Firefox correctly displays this by not expanding.

In other words, height in IE is like min-height in Firefox...

The table holding the form doesn't have a height specified! Thats the first thing i looked at when the problem occured..

any other thoughts??

As therin points out, we either need to see the code of the page or a URL to this page.

Either way, this does indeed sound like a ClientSide Technologies issue - PHP itself has nothing to do with tables and whatnot.

try adding this after your form

this fixes a type of error where sometimes css floated or css positioned elements are not considered when calculating the height of a containing element. It forces the render to see the line break and render around that. Judging by your pic, you may have that class of rendering error
