[RESOLVED] <<Prev won't show up in navigation of pagination

In my pagination navigation my "<<Prev" won't show up all that show's up is "<".

$Nav .= "<A HREF=\"past.php?page=" . ($page-1) . "&limit=".$Limit."\">".$prev."</A>";

The weird thing is the "next>>" one works fine and they are almost identical. here is it online http://noiselive.com/past.php?page=2&limit=10

Because "<" has a special meaning in HTML, as you may have noticed. Try using &lt;
