[RESOLVED] Simple Site Search

Hello,
Still learning my php, after having a quick look through past forum posts I cant seem to find a simple search for my website. Essentially I just require a search that will look through my entire website and find the desired search term, links to it and how many times it appears. Ive seen answers for those using SQL, but I am using text documents for my database. Anyone able to help me out? Thanks in advance!

For this u need to use string functions and work with text files (fopen(),fread(),file()), maybe use of array's to work with the results from the text files.

Apart from coding your own, there are plenty of ready-made, open source scripts out there that you can use to get the effect you want. Searching hotscripts.com may yield some decent results.

Have a hunt around and I'm sure you'll find something to your need within 5 minutes!
