Expecting 52_2005 if the date is "January 1, 2006, 1:52 pm" is indeed a little strange, but 52_2006 means week 52 in year 2006 and January 1 2006 isn't week 52 in the year 2006 🙂
I read the docs and saw that php5 has the likely solution to my problem:
date() function
o
ISO-8601 year number.
This has the same value as Y, except that if the ISO week number (W) belongs to the previous or next year, that year is used instead. (added in PHP 5.1.0)
But i'm not using php5 :bemused: Is there anyway i can get this thing to work in php4?
