i am trying to set up a teen support forum, currently at www.mytag.co.uk/supportbuddies i have a few members so really want it to grow!
i was thinking of putting together an msn invite script, i have seen these in action and they seem to be very popular and are great ways to attract users...
the only problem is im not very good with php, the forum itself is phpbb... i have worked out most of the code for the invite script, added a form and compiled it into one file to save time..
so far people can log into their msn accouts and tick their contacts, then nothing happens, i need to get it so the ticked contacts can be sent an email....
for that i need to put all the ticked contacts into an array and format it so the data in the array will fit in the 'to' field of the php script, so it has to have a ',' between each email address...
i have no idea how to do this!!!
please, if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!
plus you can keep what i have done for the msn invite script... ive found it rather tricky to find a script that logs into your msn and pulls out contacts, i believe this is the only free script that can do that...i managed to find it and make it look better (before it just put the contacts into a list)
anyway, please check out the script currently at http://mytag.co.uk/invite.phps (download) and se what you can do...
also, another thing, it works fine on my local server (xampp run) but is not working on my apache web server, please if you could find out why that would be great!
