making links from database data

the problem is i cant figure out how to get the links that are $config["gallery_forum"] and $config["gallery_reviews"] to work??

i get /$config["....."] as the link.

Variables are not parsed when within single quotes. You'll need to jump in and out of your string. Eg;

 $output = '<h2 id="gallery-name">'.stripslashes($config["gallery_name"]).'</h2><h4 id="gallery-address">'.stripslashes($config["gallery_address"]).'</h4><h5 id="gallery-phone">'.stripslashes($config["gallery_phone"]).'</h5><h5><a href="'.$config["gallery_forums"].'" alt="Forums">Forums</a> &middot; <a href="'.$config["gallery_reviews"].'" alt="Reviews">Reviews</a> &middot; <a href="/maps/" alt="Maps">Maps</a>';
