slashes in php

$name = str_replace("\", "/", $name);

as u know the two /\ fuck that up. How do i make it so that is what happens but the slashs dpnt screw the script up?

You have to escape any backslashes in a string with another backslash

$name = str_replace("\", "/", $name);
