[RESOLVED] URL Variables No Longer Passed Into Script

My ISP had a hard drive failure and had to rebuild the system. Everything seems to be working, EXCEPT: Variables that used to be passed into a script from the URL are no longer passed.

Example: This URL worked fine in the past, passing in 9 and 1 to $folderid and $pageid. Now both values are zero.

http://www.herbhost.com/seasia/thumbview.php?folderid=09&pageid=1

I am guessing that some config parameter has been changed but danged if I know what it is.

Running: 1.3.33 (Unix) 4.4.4

It's most likely to do with having register_globals set to off (which makes it more secure).

To access the two variables you'd need to use

$pageid = $GET['pageid'];
$folderid = $GET['folderid];

Perhaps they turned register_globals off. So in your script you'd have to change everywhere you refer to those in the url intially by using $GET or $POST.

Example:

$pageid = substr($_GET['pageid'], 0, 2);
$folderid = substr($_GET['folderid'], 0, 2);

Thank you gents. Did the trick. I reckon the ISP upgraded php when recovering the server.
