submit button acting strange

I've created a form (method = "post") but it does not behave as I'd expect when I submit the form. It acts normally if I submit the form by clicking on the Submit button, but when I submit the form by hitting [ENTER] it acts as if it does not recognise the $_POST variables. Has anyone experience such behavior? Thanks.

Some browser only submit the name and value if you click the submit button and not when you hit enter. Check for another input field in your form or add a hidden and check for that instead.
