I have already posted, but i thought my issue was an easy one, i guess not.

I have a youtube script/clone. Its not working because i needed to install ffmpeg, gd and the ffmpeg-php extention. The problem should be simple, but i havent gotten any replies as of yet..

the directions call for me to copy over the ffmpeg-php extraved files to the phpsource folder..I didnt have this, so i installed php-devel, thinking that thats what i was supossed to do. I ca not find the php source folder/directory anywhere. i have no GUI all is done from a bash shell..

What could i be missing..

Is it better to use $request instead of $POST or $GET? Since it does what $POST and $_GET do anyway. Is there a drawback to using it?

You should always use $POST and $GET to avoid troubles. Or what will happen if you have the same name both in post and get? And what will happen when you change and use a server that have $_REQUEST disabled?
