I want to make a small modification to a sites registration system so it will log an accounts ip when a person registers it in a new collumn in the users table.
The $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] super-global has the IP address. However, be aware that many (maybe even most) users' IP addresses may change over time, sometimes even within the same session.
