[RESOLVED] PHP AJAX Class

I was wondering what (free) AJAX class's people could recommend for me to use with my websites. I am starting the slow process of learning PHP... Going from the ground up seems to be killing my soul. So I'd like to try out some of the pre built ones.

I know i can find about 100 if i use Google, but i was hoping for some recommendations... or general tips with AJAX and PHP.

I'm looking at xajax just now after a recommendation in another thread I had.

It's really pretty straightforward to do AJAX. Most of the complexity happens on the client-side, not in PHP.

I use the Services_Json module from here:

To do JSON encoding on the server-side. On the client-side, I do everything manually for maximum control and minimum overhead.

Ive been using xajax.....very simple and reduced my script files enormously.....only issue i have is there is no 'history'

Ive been looking at xajax... it seems pretty cool and a good starting point for me to learn with if nothing else.
