Syntax help....oh...please!

I have this syntax:

echo '<style type="text/css">@import url("themes/'.$theme.'/style.css"); </style>';

I understand everything but the @import url(".......").

What's going on?

The @import is a CSS item, not PHP. As such, it imports the contents of the file specified by the URI inside the (). Basically, it applies the styles contained in the file to the page in proper precedence.

Moving to Clientside Technologies as this isn't a PHP issue...
