PHP script as program

Hi!
Since I am using a lot of PHP-scripts I wonder if there is a program, which can display my PHP script in a window. Yes, I know thats what my Browser + Webserver does, but is there maybe a kind of browser with integrated webserver, where I can add my PHP code and it displays me the whole stuff in one window (without adressbar etc) ?
hm, browser with integrated webserver sounds silly (since it wouldnt be a server), but I think you get an idea of what I am looking for.
maybe the whole thing is impossible, then please tell me so 😉

if its just run locally on your machine (or any one in particular) its a great way to make tiny stand-alone php apps..

it might be a pain to setup depending on your OS (it didnt take kindly to OSX when i tried)

thanks for reply. I've tested PHP-GTK and its quite nice. But unfortunetly PHP-GTK requires PHP scripts specially written for it. All my scripts are written for normal use with webserver and browser and have therfore a lot of HTML in it.
So PHP-GTK is quite nicely but not exactly what I am looking for since it cant "display" my PHP scripts in a single window without having a webserver installed.
Anyway an interesting project. Any other programs/projects known ?
