help me plz

looking for a blog(or forum) that does not use .htaccess in the coding. i want it to have php and mysql database. all i have found is wordpress but it will not work cause when you sign up it doen not give you a email for the password can u help?

I'm not sure I understand the problem with WordPress and it would be my number 1 recommendation. You don't have to use .htaccess with it and has very good spam tools.

WordPress will email you your password if you forget it (or atleast allow it to be reset)

no see that is my problem the wordpress will not email me when i join up or if i have lost my password.....and i know what i am doing with wordpress (most of the time lol) cause i have play'd around with it so much so its not me installing it wrong or something. i think it must be the server i am with because it is free(i dont have enough money to pay) but the thing is i had wordpress on it b4 and it worked fine......is there anything else like wordpress? like i have found "simple php blog" is good but i cant let other people join up which i want
