I was wondering if anyone knew of a good text editor for PHP code that is free? I anyone knows of one i would appreciate a link to it

I've heard good things about PHP designer. The personal version is free 'though I may have heard good things about the pro version. I've used a myriad. Some people swear by Eclipse. I use Zend Studio which, in my opinion, is the best hands down, unfortunately, it is NOT FREE.

You really should try searching the board for keywords such as "PHP editor". Countless threads from the past have discussed this same topic.
