How to do Weekly Rank?

I have a top rank system, with users points. How can I add weekly rank?

Ok, let me try.

There is a ranking system in my website, with the best scores from the users of my site.

example:

TOP 10 RANKING
NAME | SCORE

nuckz | 200
other | 100
another | 50

So, everytime a user enter in section "top 10", they see that ranking page.
But I want to make a Weekly ranking, besides that I have. A new section named "Weekly Top10"

Then, it will be like:

WEEKLY RANKING
NAME | SCORE
other | 30
nuckz | 20
another | 10

by that, "other" made 30 points the last week. although, he made the top of the ranking cuz it is weekly only. the best in that week.

GROUP BY and the AGGREGATE FUNCTIONS is how you do it.

Best way is to run it once a week and store the results for display.

OK, I get what your goal is, but I would still need to know how the underlying data is stored. Is it in a database? Is it in a flat file? Is it a running total in the user table? Is it a many-to-many table? etc. If you are unsure of this stuff, you are better off hiring a programmer to look at your set up and write the code required to fetch this data. These forums are for help with things you are having trouble with, not for people to work for you. Unless you have already tested this yourself and can give us a complete picture of what your set up is, no one will be able to help you.
