Hello, there must be a way around the refresh problem, anytime you want a new php item to appear. With all the scripting out there, there just must. Everything I have tried always leads me back to page refresh with php. I need search engines to search my php content, so an iframe won't work. Sever side includes won't work because the same problem happens on page refresh that I list below.
I am using php rand function to change an item. Problem is when I do this, to get a new random item, my whole web page has to refresh. Which is annoying because sometimes pages load in pieces and its a lot to go through just to change a random item. I hate to have my whole page go through this, every time I just want a new php random item to appear.
Can you just make part of a page refresh without having to refresh the whole page? Any other ideas would be appreciated, as long as they don't keep search engines from accessing my php. Thank you very much. Jazzy
