[RESOLVED] Date checking

Hi

I want to check is a date is a real date or not.

I'm programming a calendar, the month view will be very similar to that of MS Outlook with the days of the month across the top and the time of the day down the side.

So say were working in November the first Monday and Tuesday are not days of November. Monday and Tuesday are the 30th and the 31st of October. Therefore i want to start counting through the days of November from Wednesday and not Monday.

Is there a way of checking if a specific day exists within a month!?

Just answered my own question. You can get round it by finding the first day of the current month:

print date('l',strtotime(date('Y-m-01')));
