php includes and html source output

When I use a php included file, my html source becomes messed up. Basically, the source does not stay indented like I want it. Is there a trick to getting the php includes to indent properly, thus resulting in a nice clean source output? Thanks for your help.

If you're including it, you'll have to have any HTML generated by the include already be indented the way you want it. (I suppose there might be way using output buffering or something to capture the output in a variable and then use a replace function to indent the lines, but it hardly seems worth the trouble to me.)
