Internal Server error ...

hi ...
am facing a strange thing with my hosting company, am using there services mroe than 2 years now, suddenly one of my programs, is passing a variable VIA the URL with encoded value (i.e. name=%C7%E1%D3%ED%D1%C9+%C7%E1%D0%C7%CA%ED%E5) when this link is clicked now, it sayes:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [e-mail] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.


Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request

i have tried chating with the technical support and they are assuring me nothing new they have did to the php.ini or some where else, why by sudden it came this error, any one can help please!!

You need to look in the Apache error log to see what the nature of this server error was. For security reasons, Apache doesn't give out the details of errors to the client.

the problem, they looked at the log file, and there is nothing there as they said !!
any thing else related to configuration ..?

Apache always puts something into its log file when this happens. Unless of course, the error is coming from PHP.

You should enable PHP's maximum error logging in php.ini and make it log into a file, then examine that file.

Normally there is no way an error can happen and not be logged.

Oh yes- and you might want to fix that ErrorDocument problem while you're there.
