Hi everyone,
just wondering if anyone knew how to code a script that would users that are logged into my site to comment? I would like to have something similar to www.yelp.com where people review restaurants and other points of interest. any help would be great. Thanks.

yeah, a lot of people here would... but for something that large, we aren't going to be able to do it for you or walk you through the whole process... your best bet is to pick up a book if you haven't already and start from the beginning as it doesn't sound like you have much PHP experience, maybe you have other programming language experience?

that is correct, i don't have that much PHP experience but i'm learning more and more everyday and i've actually got a book here from the nice people at O'reillys called building database driven websites with PHP and MySQL...

I guess i'm not really looking for the code but somehwat of an idea as to how to set up the database and the tables...just tips or pointers...only the users that are logged in while be able to submit information...and their info will be stored in another table on the database..so i obviously don't want to make the users retype their username when they submit the comment. It seems as if its more of a database set up query than anything. I know it may seem hard, but any tips or anything would greatly help. thanks.
