Ever since yesterday afternoon, whenever I access the boards I either get a download prompt like the one you get if you have the webserver doesn't recognise .php files (which I get if I follow a link from an email) or I get a blank page (which I get going in from the PHPbuilder home page), although in this last case I can see the source of the page. I'm only getting these issues in Firefox. I have tried clearing the cache with no luck. Any ideas?
Anyone? This is really frustrating, I'm having to use IE to browse the forum and reply. My FF works o my home machine but not on my work machine. I've upgraded to the latest FF, cleared the cache, everything I can think of!
Ok, figured this out at last. Did a packet capture and found that the board had stored a large chunk of text I was submitting in a cookie and this was obviously crashing it. Looks like it might be a problem with the board and the way it handles very large text strings...
