php 4 pages after installing php 5

hi,
i am facing a problem after i installed php 5 on my server .. some applications coded with php 4 , and it is not working now.

here is a complete detail of my server:

Short_tag wasn't enabled in the PHP5 config file.

Then again, this isn't a bad thing - it's not a good coding practise at all to use the short "<?" tags. Aren't these going away in PHP6 anyway? scratches head Either way, search all of your PHP scripts for '<?' and replace them with '<?php'.

Looks like osTicket is either a poorly written app, or you're missing a config file or something. I'm likely to suggest it's the former of the two.

EDIT: Just saw this: 'HTTP_POST_VARS' -- I believe it's time for you to look for a better script.

osTicket is one of most poplar Support App ... you can google it and see.

That does not absolve it from being poorly written, but this is only a guess based on the notices reported by PHP.
