[RESOLVED] Is this possible?

I want to post a file to the web as a text file. Is it possible to have PHP then dynamically convert that file to ".doc", and also ".pdf", and also ".rtf", etc.?

If so, is it hard to do?

Possible? Yes.
Hard to do? Well, it's not "rocket science", but there would be a lot of detail work involved, most likely. If you search around the web enough, you can probably find PHP classes/libraries for each of the conversions. PHP has its own set of PDF functions (if you install the necessary pdflib files).

yes it's possible i've seen it done before. I can't tell you how it is done though. Some where on these phpbuilder fourums you should beable to find your answer. I'm still new at this.

Use sockets and it should be alright...
