Hi all, Anybody help me with the comparison between PHP run on Linux Server vs PHP run on Windows Server (the pros and cons) ? Thank you.

Then there are all the bits in the manual that are identified as being "Windows only" or "not available on Windows". PHP is just happier on Un*x systems, just like Apache (and PHP is happier on Apache, so you've got the trifecta). On the other hand, adding and removing extensions on Windows is easier (once you've got the compiled DLL) - but that's not something that would happen too often in a live environment and there is something to be said in favour of compiling from source.
