It's a plugin for visual studio... sounds amazing because as much as i love open source software visual studio as a development tool is as good as it gets.

I'm downloading it now but I'm on a horribly slow connection. 4kb/sec.

So wasting time posting here about it 😛

EDIT After trying it, eventually. It's not as good as I had hoped, wished and dreamed. It's not a bad start tho. However, what isnt made clear until you install it is that you need to pay for it and its only a 30 day trial.

Back to Zend.

they do have a "shop online" link on the site, which kind of lends itself to be a purchase-use product 😉

if you wanna do .NET stuff, M$ does have dev editions of VS.NET for each language/etc... for free, it does 95% of what full VS.NET does

only dumb thing is that you have to have a C#.NET program, a VB.NET one, a web app one, etc...

kinda silly but it's still kinda cool although i'm sure you were wanting a php ide, but just thought i'd let ya know... cuz iirc, i thought you were the one talking about .NET awhile back, i could be wrong tho

Yeah, i see that now. I think I was blinded by the idea of PHP in visual studio. I managed to get a copy of the visual studio editor (full version) from university as I use it for my course. I need to uninstall it when i finish... (but who's watching? 😉)

I really like the visual studio editor for everything... doing CSS, HTML and its not even bad for javascript. If it done PHP I'd probably want to make it my life partner.

I just get annoyed swapping between different IDE's all the time.
