I need to convert Word files to PDFs on the fly in one of my PHP scripts.
I've spent a while Googling, but I can't find a library that will perform a direct conversion.
The next best thing, of course, would be to convert from Word to an intermediary format (such as TIFF), and then convert from the intermediary format to PDF.
However, I can only find libraries that convert from Word to HTML, and I'm afraid that converting from Word -> HTML -> PDF will completely mangle the layout and formatting of the document.
Can anyone suggest a library that converts Word documents to PDF or TIFF (or a comparable format)?
