How practicle is a Flash/php/amfphp FTP client?

I am really struggling with finding and creating a solution to allow my users to upload and manage (delete/replace/rename) multilple files.

I have resorted to giving FTP access using a typical FTP client, but as easy as that is my clients really struggle with it.

I have not found a stable HTTP solution...

The only solutions that i have found that I do like are Java FTP applets. I would just rather limit and customize the FTP options to make it more simple to my users.

I have just installed amfphp and am beginning to understand it.

I would like to write a Flash/PHP FTP client utilizing amfphp.

Am I heading in the right direction, or should look somewhere else?

well... i guess it's not that practicle!

Anyone know of any decent solution for multiple file uploads?

The 10 HTML browse fields just ain't cutting it anymore!!!

I would like the user to be able to select muliple files easily and upload them via PHP's ftp functions.

Can anyone help?
