I recently upgraded to mysql 5.0.26 and everything was working fine for a few days when all of a sudden (in other words i dont know what caused it) the lengths for the column datatypes shrunk! (ie. varchar(32)s changed to varchar(10)s and varchar(64)s changed to varchar(21), char(2) -> char(0) ) I guess it looks like the length was roughly divided by 3 but thats the most pattern i can make out....
I didnt reboot in between, there is nothing in my code that could have done it... I other words i'm at a loss as to what happened.
Does anyone have any idea? I'm worried its going to happen again. This incident happend on my local machine, but i cant afford this to occur when i upload the changes to the live site....
