[RESOLVED] PHP - java script local host vs server

I am new to php - have asked some questions and received valuable help and am thankful and indebted. The help I have received I have coded and have the pages working on my local host (apache and php). The objective was simple - show users what pages have changed since they last visited, and, when going to the index, have the menu bar show which pages have changed in the last 48 hours or the last 7 days. Again, it works great on my local host, but when I move it to my remote server, only half works. Can anyone think of a reason why the same code will work locally but not remote? Thanks for help in advance. Incidently, I have tried to test the remote site with echo and document.write statements as a debug, but the php just will not run.

When you say it doesn't run, what do you mean? Does it give any errors? What part works, and what doesn't? Can you post what doesn't work?

It gives me no errors - just seems to hang......I will attach the php and js files that work locally but don't work on the remote server. Intro2.php works, showing the files that have changed since the users last visit. When the link to main page is selected, that is where it hangs. The index.html is called, and menu1.php does not execute.
