Replacing Text with an image

hey people, happy new years

im kinda new in php and am trying to write a script that will allow me to replace text with a image.

I have a listings page and when a user performs a search i would like any instance of "yes" to be replaced by a checkmark image, and any "no" with a x image.

any help would be greatly appreicated

i'm not sure fully what you want... but if you read in the html contents of the searched page, then you can have that "string" and do str_replace() on the string and replace the yes with whatever and the no with whatever

again, i'm not fully sure what you want, but str_replace will help you replace yes/no with images
