I've got the array blues...

Hi everyone,

I have the array blues.. I've been staring at my screen all day.. trying to figure out how the best way to achieve this task, and it seems the more I think about it the more confused I am getting.. So I thought it was time to seek some advice.

Ok.. The goal:

A clothing page.. A jacket that is available in multiple colors.. An image that displays the jacket, a description, swatches showing the colors, and a gallery of thumbnails of images of the jacket in that particular color. Clicking on the thumbnails of the jacket, update the main image... clicking on the swatches change the thumbnails to the appropriate thumbnail images of that color.

So as of now, I am not able to access the images.. and I am wondering, is my whole way of thinking wrong?? can anyone please give me some insight on how I might better program this function?

This line jumps out at me (Line 56 in the .txt file):

echo "<a href='#_self'><img src='$theitem[thumbpath].$clothingthumb[$picturecount].$theitem[thumbtype]' height='$theitem[hthumb]' width='$theitem[wthumb]' alt='$theitem[title] image $picturecount' /></a></div></div>";

It sort of looks to me like you want to concatenate the three variables together in the src attribute of the img tag, but what you're really doing is separating each with a period. I think what you want is:

That was one of many problems.. I seem to have gotten it working.. thanks.. But I still would love some input as far as better ways to achieve this sort of thing...
